About FitLog
Built for the long run.
FitLog is a quiet, local-first workout log and interval timer designed for lifters, kettlebell practitioners, calisthenics athletes, and runners who care about consistent training over years—not social feeds or noisy distractions.
Why a quiet training log matters
Most fitness apps are built like social networks, interrupting rest periods with popups, leaderboards, mandatory sign-ups, and slow cloud-only screens. Real training progress comes from showing up, executing your sets and intervals with focus, and keeping an accurate record of weights, reps, rounds, and active time.
- Start logging immediately in your browser or phone with zero mandatory account creation.
- Clean, high-contrast typography readable at a glance from across the gym floor.
- Automatic workout protection that suppresses interruptions while an activity timer is running.
Local-first architecture that works offline
Garage gyms, basement weight rooms, commercial fitness centers, and outdoor trails frequently have spotty or nonexistent cell reception. FitLog stores every workout, exercise set, round, and note directly on your device first using browser IndexedDB storage.
- Every entry saves instantaneously to your device with zero network latency.
- Full offline functionality—start routines, run interval timers, and review past sessions without a connection.
- Optional account sync backs up your log to Cloudflare D1 and syncs seamlessly across your phone, tablet, and desktop when you go back online.
Tailored to real training modalities
Different training styles demand different logging structures. A barbell strength session tracks working weight and reps across sets; a kettlebell EMOM tracks rounds on a 60-second clock; a mobility routine tracks hold durations; a run or row tracks distance and time.
- Weights & Barbell: Track working sets, lb/kg unit conversions, volume load, and rest intervals.
- Kettlebells: Built-in support for EMOMs, ladders, complexes (such as Simple & Sinister and the Armor Building Complex), and density blocks.
- Calisthenics & Core: Log bodyweight progressions, weighted calisthenics, and isometric holds.
- Cardio & Mobility: Record distance (km or miles), pace, active duration, and joint mobility flows.
Complete data ownership and privacy
Your training history belongs to you. FitLog never sells your personal workout data, allows you to use the entire application as a local guest, and provides one-click JSON backup exports and restores so you are never locked into a proprietary ecosystem.
