Capabilities & Training Guide

Everything you need on the gym floor.

FitLog combines a flexible multi-sport workout logger, a full-screen gym interval clock, a curated library of over 200 exercises and benchmark routines, and multi-horizon training analytics in one lightweight application.

Flexible workout & round logging

Customize visible fields per workout so your screen only shows what matters for the session at hand. Toggle weight, reps, distance, duration, rounds, and notes on the fly without losing historical data.

  • One-tap Repeat Workout clones any previous session or routine while tracking session lineage (#1, #2, #3) and previous completion dates.
  • Smart exercise autocomplete searches by movement name, muscle group, equipment, or common gym aliases (such as RDL, OHP, TGU, ABC, or C2 rower).
  • Seamless switching between pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg), and between kilometers (km) and miles (mi), with automatic precision conversion.

Integrated gym clock & interval timers

No need to switch between a separate timer app and your workout log. FitLog embeds a precision interval timer directly inside your active workout session and can automatically log completed rounds as you train.

  • EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute): Configurable interval lengths and round targets for kettlebell swings, snatches, and strength-endurance complexes.
  • Work / Rest Intervals: Custom work and rest durations for Tabata, HIIT, barbell rest periods, and kettlebell sport long-cycle intervals.
  • AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible): Countdown time caps for density training like Dry Fighting Weight (DFW) ladders.
  • Stopwatch & Fullscreen Wall Clock: High-visibility stadium display with customizable fonts, sizes, countdown beeps, and 12 synthesized Web Audio sound themes (Boxing Bell, Gymboss, Woodblock, Zen Bowl, Sonar, and more).

Curated benchmark routines & 200+ exercise library

Start from a blank session or launch a proven training template from the built-in Routine Library. Every template configures its recommended timer mode, rounds, and movement list automatically—and you can modify or unlink any session to fit your equipment.

  • Kettlebell Benchmarks: Simple & Sinister (100 Swings + 10 Turkish Get-Ups), Dan John's Armor Building Complex (2 Cleans, 1 Press, 3 Squats EMOM), The Humane Burpee 5-4-3-2-1 Ladder, Dry Fighting Weight 30-minute ladders, and the 5-Minute 100-Rep Snatch Test.
  • Barbell & Dumbbell Strength: 5×5 Linear Progression (Workouts A & B), Upper/Lower hypertrophy splits, and full-body strength templates.
  • Calisthenics, Core & Mobility: Push/Pull/Squat bodyweight fundamentals, core stability circuits, and daily thoracic, hip, and shoulder mobility flows.

Training volume & consistency analytics

Review how your training evolves across 7-day, 30-day, month-to-date, last-month, year-to-date, all-time, or custom date ranges with automatic period-over-period comparisons.

  • Track total active training time, volume load lifted (kg or lb), total distance, activity count, and exercise variety.
  • Inspect category breakdowns across Weights, Kettlebells, Calisthenics, Cardio, Mobility, and Core.
  • Browse your full training calendar by month and date to spot consistency streaks and recovery days.
